Nicholas Peternik’s crime isn’t too unusual, just your run-of-the-mill robbery in California. But it’s hard to believe that he stayed awake for his mugshot.

Believe it or not, Nick is actually fully conscious in this photo. Cops say he refused to pull his hair back, so someone had to do it for him while they took the picture. If Nick has any money left after paying his $10,000 bail, he should invest in a haircut or at least a pretty headband to keep his hair out of his face.
