After months of rumors and speculation and lack of details on the recording of Van Halen’s first album with David Lee Roth in 27 years, the world tour we have expected from the band is now official! Tour dates have yet to be announced…Is Boston on the list?

While no concert dates have been confirmed yet, we know that the first set of tickets go on sale January 10, so the first set of dates is likely to come out between now and then.
We find it hard to believe VH isn’t planning on making a stop in Boston, or at least Mansfield for the Comcast Center. They last came to Beantown at the TD Garden in 2007.
The newly released tour trailer plays clips from classics “Jump” and “Hot for Teacher” (from the band’s last album together, 1984) while paying homage to their past music videos with plenty of outrageous dance moves.
David Lee Roth looks like he suddenly has new life breathed into him. Let’s all hope the new album sounds the same.
