Rock Talk With Carter: When Abbey Road Studios Opened Its Doors to the Public

On this day in 1983, Abbey Road Studios in London opened for public tours. Although tons of bands have recorded at the legendary studios, one specific band usually comes to mind when Abbey Road is mentioned. It’s probably because of the iconic photo they took there for their album cover, which was also named after the studios.

We’re of course talking about The Beatles, and the photo below.

Previous to the studios going public, Carter Alan had an amazing opportunity to interview Pink Floyd‘s Roger Waters there. Because Carter was early for the interview, he got to go on a private tour of the building! Hear all about his experience in the video above.
